Digital technologies acceptable use agreement

As part of our wellbeing program the school would like all parents to read and sign with your child the appropriate note.

Year 1 Bug Club note - information for parents

Year 1 students have experienced Bug Club which is an online reading program at school. It is now available to use at home and the school encourages parents to use this program as part of the weekly homework program.

Term 1 Fees

The Term 1 fees are now due. The attachment contains an explanation of the fees, fees schedule and a list of fees for each year - Kindergarten to Year 6.

Years 3 and 4 Seesaw

Seesaw is a program that will be used for the student's digital portfolio work samples. This replaces the hard copy portfolio that is sent home at the end of the year. We are using this platform as a way for students to display their classwork. The Seesaw Digital Portfolio gives us this opportunity by enabling you to view examples of your child’s work throughout the year.

P&C Association July Update

Hornsby North Public School P&C Association July update. Whilst the P&C hasn't had any face to face meetings since Term 1, work has continued behind the scenes on a range of issues of importance to the school and our students.

Years 1-6 Digital Technologies Acceptable Use Agreement

All students in Years 1-6 have been given a copy of the Digital Technologies Acceptable Use Agreement.

Students should read and sign the Agreement in the company of a parent or caregiver. By signing the agreement the students agrees to all the conditions/ behaviours listed.

Year 5 Interrelate

Year 5 will take part in a 3 week program presented by Interrelate. This course is to prepare Year 5 for puberty, "Moving into the Teen Years" explores a range of adolescent issues.

Years 3-6 Cricket for Sport

Students in Years 3-6 (not in PSSA netball/football or tennis)  will take part in a 5 week program presented by Cricket NSW during sport on Fridays. The cost is $5.00 per student.
