Countdown to Education Week 2022

NSW public schools are getting ready to celebrate Education Week 2022 from 1 to 5 August.

This year’s theme ‘Creating futures - education changes lives’ highlights the journey students and learners take throughout the NSW Education system, focusing on how we are creating futures for our students, staff and families.

Education Week is an annual celebration and a time to celebrate and acknowledge the opportunities available to everyone in NSW public education.

‘Ed Week’ will officially launch with a virtual live stream on 1 August, starting 10am.

The launch will include inspiring stories from our students and schools, student performance pieces and messages from NSW Education leaders.

You can watch the live stream launch on the Ed Week website.  It will also be available on demand following the live broadcast.

On Tuesday 2 August, get ready for the virtual screening of the ‘Film By…Invitation’ short film festival. Two 30-minute virtual festivals will feature 24 short films created over the past year by students from across NSW.

Students, parents and teachers can get involved by voting for their favourite film in the People’s Choice Award.

Education Week is your chance to celebrate the achievements of your students, teachers and school staff.
