Year 1 School House Museum Excursion #2

At the NSW Schoolhouse Museum of Public Education, Year 1 students explore the themes of Present and Past Family Life and The Past in the Present by comparing past and present school life. Through inquiry questions and activities like experiencing an 1880's school lesson, examining artefacts, engaging in historical crafts, toys and games they gain a hands-on understanding of how school and everyday life have evolved and how technology has influenced these changes.
