Uniform
The school community expects students to be correctly dressed in the school's uniform. This uniform, which is detailed below, fosters pride in the school and assists in the development and maintenance of tone and good conduct. In cases of financial hardship, parents may approach the Principal for assistance. Uniforms can be purchased from the school Uniform Shop.
Uniform Shop
The school Uniform Shop sells both new and second-hand items of the school uniform. It is operated by a paid uniform shop manager and volunteer parents during school terms. The Uniform Shop is a service provided by the HNPS P&C.
Second hand uniforms in good condition are accepted as donations for sale by the Uniform Shop.

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
- meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
- includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
- is appropriate for the full range of school activities
- is suitable for all body shapes.
