Parent portal
At Hornsby North Public School we use School Bytes to make communication and admin easier for families. This app helps you:
- make payments quickly and securely
- view academic reports
- stay up to date with school events
- record absences
We also use 2 websites where parents can set up accounts:
- MunchMonitor to order your child's lunch
- Shopify to order school uniforms
Our parent portal apps
School Bytes
For making payments, viewing student academic reports and financial records and giving parental consent for school events.
Log-in to the School Bytes portal or:
- Download School Bytes on Google Play
- Download School Bytes on the Apple Store
MunchMonitor for canteen orders
Our school uses MunchMonitor for online canteen orders. You can create an account on their website. All orders must be received by 8:30am for that day's lunch.
Orders can be made up to a month in advance.

Uniform Shop
Purchases can be made via our Shopify page and uniforms can be delivered to the child's class or picked up during the Uniform Shop opening hours:
- Wed 8.45-10am
- Fri 8.45-10am
